Think of the Bellagio and you’ll no doubt think first of the 1,200 dancing water fountains which attract thousands of daily visitors – one the showcase Vegas images you’ll find in all the travel brochures and websites.

The Fountains are just about the best free attraction in Las Vegas, and “performing” up to every 15 minutes during peak season, they have a wide range of songs they dance to.  It really is a must do thing to do whilst in Vegas, stop for half an hour and watch a couple of fountain shows,  you won’t regret it.

But that’s only part of the story for this Italian themed showcase resort. Based bang in the middle of the strip, the recently renovated Bellagio hotel is one of the most iconic spots in Las Vegas. High class shopping boutiques (including Chanel, Gucci and Prada), genuine world class dining (Le Cirque and Picasso to name but two) and the world’s largest chocolate fountain! There’s also a 1,800 seat Theatre featuring shows from Cirque du Soleil five nights a week.

You get what you pay for in Las Vegas, we understand that. But what makes the Bellagio a little but special is the small extras, especially for the business travellers out there; high speed wi-fi and access to the superb fitness centre are included in your Bellagio room fees. That’s a big tick for us.

The hotel has close to 4,000 rooms, of which 512 are suites, and all are hi-tech and elegant at the same time. Whilst the Italian theme continues with five outdoor Mediterranean style pools.

The Bellagio Casino is something special, especially for poker fans. If you’re a fan of TV poker you’ll no doubt have seen the inside of the poker rooms for high stakes tournament and cash games with the world’s most famous players battling it out. And of course, you’ve got the other popular card and table games to play, from low limit Caribbean Stud Poker right up to the two high limit VIP areas for the high rollers.

For sports bettors and handicappers there’s a magnificent Sports and race book to place you racing, NFL, NBA and NHL bets.

Location

The Bellagio is located in the just right in the centre of the strip, between Aria City Center and Caesars Palace. You simply cannot get a better location.
